Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Last year we visited the preschool Connor now attends the day before St. Patrick's Day and saw all the fun "tricks" the leprechaun had played in their classroom so we did a few things on the actual day at home too. For weeks now Connor has been remembering it all and talking about it and can't wait to see what tricks the little man has up his green sleeves this year. I don't think he'll be disappointed....

We took the leaf out of out kitchen table and moved it into the living room where the train table usually sits

The train table, of course, went into the kitchen

(do you like how Bailey posed so nicely for both of these shots? We got new treats that she'll do just about anything for!)

There are green streamers everywhere!

The car is backed into the garage so it's backwards from how it normally is. Jeremy even put a green light bulb (leftover from Christmas) in the light fixture in the downstairs hallway (you might notice there's a slight greenish tinge to the picture on the left just above)! It should be a fun morning, especially because the boys get to eat breakfast in the living room! Breakfast will include green eggs, green milk and green grapes. :) I'm not sure Connor will want to go to school and given the forecast of 10 to 16 inches of snow tonight he might just get to stay home and enjoy the trickery all day....

I wanted to do more but held back when Jeremy reminded me that we have to match or improve upon this next year when Logan will be excited about it all too!
